Cherry class have spent our Spring Term’s Music lessons working with Upbeat Rock Academy. We have had an amazing time and experienced playing drums, electric and bass guitars, keyboards and using our voices. Working with Patrick each week, we have produced 2 performances which we are so proud of; My Lighthouse and a We will Rock you medley, which we had great fun performing to our family and friends in the last week of term!
On Tuesday 10th March we were so excited to go on a trip to Upbeat’s studio in Poulton, where we got to record ourselves singing and playing instruments together. It was a fantastic afternoon, even Mrs Thornton had a go on the drums! Here are some photos of our time at the studio, and a video we made whilst we were there.
