We are delighted to welcome you to the PTA page of our website. Everyone who has a child at Heyhouses is automatically a member of our PTA. We do need your support though! The PTA meets on a regular basis to plan and organise fundraising events to help support the school. This support is vital to the school for many reasons. Money that is raised is ploughed back into to school to buy books, subsidise school trips, buy new equipement such as lap tops, support MAD festival and we have recently been able to help with new Eco Pod which is used as an outdoor classroom and for Wild at Heart!
Without your support, time and effort many activities would simply not happen.
Our events range from Films Nights, Bingo Nights, Christmas Party (enjoyed throughly by all the parents that attend!) Summer Disco and then the Grand Finale of our Summer Fair.
We would love to see some new faces and would like to hear any new ideas that you may have. We have a great, friendly and dedicated PTA team who work hard... and play hard! Dear Parents,
We have just signed up for ‘easyfundraising’ to support our PTA in raising more money for the school grounds. We have recently been awarded a grant by Lytham Schools Foundation for Phase 1 of our grounds development. Over the next few months some outdoor equipment will start to be installed. This includes seating areas for outdoor work and recreation, climbing equipment for Reception and the infants, artificial grassed areas to allow all year round use near Year 3 and 4 playground and in the Year 1 outdoor area and the creation of a pond area.
Phase 2 includes allotments, greenhouses, log circles and an eco-pod which would act as the base for all of our Wild at Heart Forest schools work and also allow greater use of our sports facilities, with greater community opportunities. The eco pod would include a class space, toilets and a small kitchen area.
For these projects we need to raise lots more money!
By supporting easyfundraising whenever you buy anything online - from your weekly shop to your annual holiday - you could be raising a free donation for Heyhouses. There are nearly 3,000 retailers including Amazon, John Lewis, Aviva, thetrainline and Sainsbury's, who will donate a percentage of the amount you spend to Heyhouses to say thank you for shopping with them.

Dont forget we also have a second hand section and would be grateful for donations of your pre-loved uniform. Just drop it off at either office and it will be forwarded to me. We are open every Monday at the Junior department.
