This term, we have been making links between our RE and Science topics by exploring the season of spring. We went on a spring walk to look for signs of new life in our school grounds.

The children spotted budding flowers, fresh green shoots and insects beginning to reappear. We talked about how spring is a time of growth and new beginnings, linking this to our learning in RE.

During our walk, we also collected a range of leaves. Back in class, we carefully observed and classified them into groups based on their shape, size and texture. The children showed great curiosity and teamwork throughout, well done, everyone!
