Year 6 enjoyed a fantastic visit to Church where Father Glen explained the ritual of the communion and the artefacts used. Many of the children volunteered to dress up as a Vicar and all were keen to try a wafer! They were all very well behaved, asking thoughtful questions and leaving church excited that they now have a better understanding of the meaning of the Eucharist. Following on from this the children will produce their own step by step guides to receiving the Eucharist.
