Reception has had great fun learning all about the musicals The Lion King and Peter Pan. We made character puppets to act out the stories, learnt how to draw lions, created our own lion pots out of clay, made animal masks, painted tropical birds and sang lots of the songs. We also learnt the sign language to go with "Can You Feel the Love Tonight." We looked for signs of Captain Hook's pirates in the Nursery Garden and found lots of clues they'd left behind - Leaf eye patches, stick cutlasses and even some wooden legs!
