Today Year 6 children from across all three classes zoomed children in Nigeria. Both sets of children were very excited to see each other and there was lots of waving and clapping.
Our Year 6 children got to see the Nigerian children's classroom which was very different to ours. There were wooden benches and tables and a chalkboard on the wall - that was all! A huge contrast to our English classroom in Lytham St Annes. However, our children were very envious of the Nigerian children's playground - so much space to run around in!
Our children have written a letter to each of the children in Primary 5 of this Nigerian School. We will send the letters over to the children after Christmas and will await their replies.
Many thanks to Captain J S Gaston-Ross and Elizabeth the Head Teacher of the Nigerian School for helping us to set up this fantastic occasion which was thoroughly enjoyed by us all.
