Staff from LSA came to visit Year 6 today and brought with them two past pupils Millie Heap and Julia Jones from Heyhouses.

Sleeping Beauty Did Not Disappoint!

On Friday, Year 6 walked to Our Lady Star of the Sea Community Centre to see the Panto, Sleeping Beauty. The children had a fabulous time cheering, booing and even singing along to their favourite songs!

During our walk around St Annes this morning, Year 6 visited two memorials for the lifeboat members who lost their lives on 9th December 1886 whilst attempting to rescue the shipwrecked Mexico in the Ribble Estuary.
We will be learning all about The Mexico Disaster and writing a newspaper…
Memory Lane

Year 6 had glorious weather this morning whilst walking over four miles around their home town.
They picked out landmarks and attractions that evoked happy memories for them. These will feature in both their artwork and poetry writing over the next fortnight.
