During our walk around St Annes this morning, Year 6 visited two memorials for the lifeboat members who lost their lives on 9th December 1886 whilst attempting to rescue the shipwrecked Mexico in the Ribble Estuary. 

We will be learning all about The Mexico Disaster and writing a newspaper report based upon our research during our English lessons this term.
