Year Six have listened to the poem 'T'was the Night Before Christmas'.
After that, Year Six were set the task of writing their own short story - imagining their own encounter with Father Christmas!
The children wrote the stories in their special blue writing books.
Hazel Class Learn About Advent
We watched Bishop Philip's first Advent assembly - he told us all about the Advent Crown/Wreath.
We all enjoyed recording what the candles symbolise.
Hazel Class in the Christmas Spirit
Although we are not able to gather together to sing Christmas carols as we normally would, Hazel Class are choosing two carols a day to listen to and enjoy.
We cannot sing them out loud but we can join in silently as we listen.
We have listened to Silent Night and Hark the Herald Angels Sing…
