Mini Beast Hunting
Poplar had the task of searching the school grounds for a variety of invertebrates today.
We thought about the type of habitats we could find these creatures in.
We then classified the creatures that we found and considered why they liked their habitat.

Cherry class had a wonderful morning working with watercolour artist Hugh Templeton. The children created their own beach scene under Hugh's direction.
Year 4 Sports Day
All the children worked extremely hard running, throwing and jumping their way through the events and showed excellent sportsmanship. Well done Year 4! Here are a selection of photos.

Cherry class have had a wonderful afternoon learning and performing songs from Aladdin.

Year 4 were lucky enough to have a professional Musical Theatre Performer and Director come in to school to run a Singing workshop!

Morning Maths Hunt
Year 6 had a lot of fun this morning hunting around the school grounds for maths questions.
Today, Poplar class investigated the weight of a variety of items. including fruit, vegetables, rocks, bricks and even ourselves!
For some reason, Miss Anderson and Mrs Johnson didn't let us weigh them! We couldn't work out why!
