We have had THE BEST day today. We went on our trip to Ribchester, the children's first school trip since Reception. We had a fantastic day and all the children (and adults) thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We started by exploring the bath house ruins. We then met Matthew who told us all about the granaries where Romans used to store their food. We then went to see Patrick and he showed us lots of artefacts and we got to try on some Roman armour. After this, we had lunch in the hall and then explored the museum. We found out lots of information and enjoyed looking at all the wonderful artefacts. After the museum we were able to have a play on the park and then it was home time! What a busy day, we will all sleep well tonight!
