You can look at planning and resources for Maths and English in the special sub-pages provided, these are updated weekly and link to the work your child would be covering if they were in school.

If your child is off school, we would like you to continue with daily reading at home using Bug Club.
Each child has been given their password in their "Things To Learn At Home" book. Alternatively, you can also read books from your own bookshelves at home. At present, planners are to be kept in school but we would love to hear about any reading that is taking place, you could email your class teacher. Ask questions about the text, make predictions and compare events to real life experiences. Encourage your child to observe punctuation when they read aloud.
Children have access to Timestable Rockstars to practise tables at home.

We set a weekly homework on My Maths which is based on an aspect of work covered that week. All children are expected to do this at home as part of their weekly homework routine.

Children have a weekly spelling test on a Wednesday in school. Spellings are provided in the 'home learning pack' sent home at the start of the school year. Alternatively they are available on the school website. Click here to access them. Some children have been given personal spellings, should you require a further copy of these, please email your class teacher.
For Autumn 2; Week 7 test is on Wed 4th Nov, Week 8 test is on Wed 11th Nov, Week 9 test is on Wed 18th Nov, Week 10 test is on Wed 25th Nov, Week 11 test is on 2nd Dec and Week 12 test is on 9th Dec.
Please practise spellings daily with your child and complete a test at home with them.

Children can access these web platforms using the logins provided in their "Things to learn at home" book. Here they can play many fun educational games based on all aspects of the curriculum. They are familiar with these platforms as they are used in school for coding, animation and other educational learning across the curriculum.
